This is one of several animations created to highlight the unique features of Eduphoria!’s “AWARE” software.

My goal was to re-create what would be seen on a screen capture video of the tool, but be fully editable when the user interface inevitably gets refreshed. Screen capture videos are great, but not evergreen. Creating pieces like this in After Effects ensure that we can go back later and quickly update certain elements and be able to keep any content that’s external facing up to date.

The kinetics were especially important for this piece to make sure it appeared to be a normal mouse click, and mimic the motion of a person using a mouse or trackpad. Much attention was given to the transition of the cursor from hover to select and back to hover.
